1. Cameras will be always present during parenting time and are monitored from the moment of arrival.
  2. Fees for services shall be paid in advance as provided by court order.
  3. Custodial parent shall bring child/children to visit five minutes before the scheduled visit. Visiting parents shall arrive promptly at the scheduled time.
  4. Custodial parent shall arrive promptly at the end of each scheduled visit to pick up the child/children.
  5. Non-compliance with guidelines or challenging the authority of the monitor may lead to termination of services at the discretion of the monitor.
  6. Session will be cancelled if a parent is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
  7. Parents and children must speak English during session and must speak loudly enough for monitor to hear.
  8. Family members or friends who are authorized by the court to participate in the session must comply with guidelines.

RULES OF CONDUCT – The following are prohibited at all times.

  1. Inappropriate demands for physical contact, foul language, shouting, threats of violence or abuse, attempts to move child/children out of sight or hearing of monitor.
  2. Passing correspondence or messages to the other parent (such as regarding legal matters) through child/children or monitor
  3. Sharing detailed court information or court documents, time sharing or session time variations. Visit discussions should focus on the present, to avoid pressure and/or disappointment.
  4. Speaking negatively about the other parent, his or her family or designee in front of the child/children and/or questions about the other parent’s whereabouts or activities.
  5. Taking photographs of the child/children without prior consent from custodial parent.
  6. Contact or confrontation between parents during exchanges or parenting time session.
  7. Child/Children are required to remain inside Phoenix House during session.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Monitors will only convey information between parents regarding child/children’s medical need and/or parenting time and exchanges.
  2. Custodial and visiting parents are required to meet the needs of child/children during session, Ex: bring diaper bag, baby food, changes of clothes, etc.
  3. Unless medically authorized or prohibited, dietary restrictions are not enforced.
